Two Tbilisi Trips To Treasure

Here's what I meant to post the last time I was in Tbilisi, but apparently it never got around to sending through.  Good news is now I can actually post pictures from that weekend as well:
I'm currently in Tbilisi where I've spent the past 2 weekends.  Jenna's boyfriend arrived last Friday so we came to pick him up and he left Saturday early so we once again took him to the airport.  These past two weekends have been so memorable without a doubt, I don't have much time so I'll summarize as best I can:
-We've discovered an awesome bar here that plays great music and feels more like the Charleston/Folly hippy bar scene I've grown accustomed to, with the greatest hot chocolate in the world.
-My very entertaining Georgian friends learned some new words that are in no way suitable for everyday conversation.  Although I will say it made for the funniest dinner table discussion while we were at eating some of the best khinkali I've had thus far at the Khinkali King (fitting name) at 2 am while killing time before picking Kevin, Jenna's boyfriend up, at the airport at 5 am.
-Max and I discovered a random waterfall right in downtown Tbilisi next to the Turkish baths where we ran into some Georgians drinking beer and offered Max and I each one...love that Georgian hospitality.
-Got to see a lot of fellow TLG'ers from orientation week I hadn't seen since we all left for our new homes, which was great to catch up with all of them.
-Went to a Rugby game. Check that one off my bucket list while I'm here.  They played Japan and it ended with Japan pulling off a win... Georgia looked pissed.
-My co-teacher perfectly summarized Georgia's not so great eating habits one day at school.  While I was explaining to her what I ate on the weekends and how much I loved shuarma (a Turkish kebab), she proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't eat it since it's bad for my intestines, it's better I eat bread (white of course since wheat bread doesn't exist here), meat, and cake....awesome
-Had a really great unplanned Thanksgiving meal.  Here's what I wrote for my fb post to summarize:
Had the Georgian version of a thanksgiving which was an absolutely amazing treat. Ate what we've deemed purkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, also gave up some prayers to baby Jesus' birthday, that first thanksgiving which later involved the almost annihilation of an entire race, and a discussion about why we are or are not thankful for stick-shift cars. Now that does sound like a Georgian thanksgiving.
-Went to the Beatles bar where hardly any Beatles music was actually played.  It turned into basically just a dance club with techno beats.  I'm pretty sure we made friends that night with practically every Georgian in the place and it's unlikely they'll forget us anytime soon.  The dancing was ridiculous with shirts coming off (just a guys, don't worry), people lying on the floor (same guy of course), arms and legs flailing in every direction, a million toasts exchanged between our new Georgian friends and ourselves, and some perfect coffee with Bailey's.
-Went to the Sighnaghi, the Love City, with Jenna and our 2 Georgian friends.  Very beautiful place - Lots of camera angles and model shots as dictated by Jonny and Giga.  I'm pretty sure they were, scratch that, I'm definitely sure they were more excited about taking all of the pictures than we were.  We visited an old prison or what we understood was a prison, and drank some holy water from a nearby river.
-We discovered an American pizza place which was amazing!  I've come to miss a lot of foods and pizza and breadsticks was just what I needed.  In fact we ended up going there 2 days in a row.
That's about it, or as best I can do in my current time restraint since we're about to leave and head back to our villages.  Probably won't be able to update again since I won't have much internet the next 2 weeks, but then I'll be home for 1 month so that will be great to see everyone then and catch up more.  Until next time!

In case you were curious, my bedroom, pretty basic but I love it
So now I'm currently in Kutaisi with Jenna to type up a report for TLG.  Received some good news recently and my flights are booked for coming home!  I leave Georgia on December 11th and fly back January 18th so I have plenty of time to kill to see everyone and spend quality time with you all.  In terms of other updates there hasn't been a whole lot since that last very memorable trip to Tbilisi.  A basic week at school mostly, but at least now I get to put up those Sighnaghi photos!
Discovered at the American pizza place...fitting since I'm currently reading the series

I laugh every time I see this one, so cool...

This was all the boys' insistence on different angled shots and poses
